HELP BUILD THE ROOM YOU WISH EXISTED

We're founding-stage. Chapters are small, the calendar is sparse, and that's the point — early artists shape what this becomes. We're not booking your tour. We're building a clubhouse, and we're saving you a chair.

HOW IT GROWS WITH YOU

Sit-in to founding artist — four rungs, your own pace. No tier games, no booking-agent decks.

RUNG 01

THE SIT-IN

Show up to a jam, no expectations. Bring your axe, plug in, see if the room feels right.

What it means:

  • Sit in with the chapter regulars
  • No commitment, no pitch
  • See if you fit before anyone else does
RUNG 02

THE CHAPTER NIGHT

Host or play your own night with the chapter behind you — the people, the room, the door.

What it means:

  • Your name on a chapter calendar slot
  • Members on the door, members in the room
  • Bring your folks — they’re on the list
RUNG 03

THE REGULAR

You’re on the calendar. The chapter knows your name. You don’t pitch — you just show up.

What it means:

  • Recurring chapter night, your room
  • On the feed, on the email, on the wall
  • Members show up because they know you
RUNG 04

THE FOUNDING ARTIST

Your imprint on the chapter that bears it. Your gear in the studio. Your name on the door.

What it means:

  • Founding-artist seat on chapter direction
  • Studio time when you need it
  • Your gear, your sound, your room

FOR TOURING & NATIONAL ARTISTS //

NOT AS A VENUE. AS A CHAPTER.

Touring artists, national acts, fusion players, clinic-circuit regulars — yes, we'd love to host you. Not as a venue. As a chapter.

In person when you're passing through: a clinic, a sit-in with the regulars, an “in conversation” night, a fusion or weird-stuff session that wouldn't fit a normal room.

Remote when you're not: live Q&As beamed into the chapter clubhouse, listening sessions with the members in the room, masterclasses recorded with the chapter as your audience. The format follows you.

We're not booking your tour. We're inviting you into ours.

If that sounds like your kind of room — drop the founders a note at founders@sticksandstrings.org. We read every one and we write back.

WHAT YOU GET BY BEING IN

THE FRIENDSHIP

  • Adult musicians, no scene politics
  • No comparison spiral, no follower-count math
  • Side projects, jam invites, real DMs
  • Bandmates you’ll actually want to play with

THE ROOM

  • Chapter studios when you’re in town
  • PA, backline, soundcheck on a real rig
  • Local crew on the night, not green hands
  • Quiet mid-week practice when you need it

THE FEED

  • Algorithm-free chapter network
  • Members show up because their friends told them
  • Not because the algorithm did
  • Press, photos, podcast as the chapter has it

THE DOOR

  • Yes, you’ll get paid
  • We’re not quoting a number until our chapters can deliver one honestly
  • When they can, members see it before anyone outside the club does
  • Door split, no booking fee — when the door is real

INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Send a 60-second pitch. Tell us about you, your band, what room you'd want. We'll listen, we'll write back, and if it fits we'll get you on a calendar.
