• Audition-based. Members are admitted via a short audition. The bar is showing up and contributing — not a follower count.
• Adult-only (18+). A peer community for working musicians, not a school program.
• Chapter model. Local chapters host weekly jams; everyone shares the same digital backbone (events, Pocket feed, jukebox, lessons, gear market).
• Artist-affiliated. Our affiliated-artist roster includes Local Heroes, Regional Touring, and National Headliner tiers — all shown publicly with upcoming dates.

Sticks & Strings runs on recurring memberships, not ads. A free tier gets anyone into the community; paid tiers unlock what a real music club costs to run — workshops, jam sessions, a lessons library, and recording-studio time. Merch and artist/venue partnerships round out the model.

• Starter — $35/mo.For students & seniors. Adds direct messages, the lessons library, and jukebox tracks.
• Member — $55/mo. The core tier. Book and host workshops + jam sessions, join crews, and get priority event registration.
• All-In — $75/mo. Recording-studio access, advanced workshops + master lessons, and the ability to start your own crew.

Also in the mix: a Founding Member / Founding Artist badge for early subscribers, day passes for drop-ins, a merch store, and affiliated artist + venue partnerships. Local chapters host the in-person jams; everyone shares the same digital backbone.

Musicians affiliate with a chapter and grow at their own pace — no booking-agent decks, no follower-count math. Four rungs, from sitting in on a jam to a founding-artist seat.

• Four rungs. The Sit-In (show up to a jam, no commitment) → The Chapter Night (host or play your own night) → The Regular (a recurring slot on the calendar) → The Founding Artist (a seat on chapter direction, plus studio time).
• What artists get.A vetted, algorithm-free chapter network; studios and rehearsal rooms when they're in town; press, photos, and podcast coverage; and real bandmates — not scene politics.
• The door.Door split, no booking fee. We don't quote a guaranteed payout until a chapter can honestly deliver one — and when it can, members see it before anyone outside the club.
• Public + apply. The public artist roster lives at /featured-artists; musicians apply at /artist-partners.

Venues affiliate with the club to reach a vetted, audition-approved roster of working musicians — we bring the artists and the promotion; they bring the room.

• Who affiliates.Recording studios, performance halls, music venues & clubs, and rehearsal / creative spaces.
• What venues get. Featured placement in the public venue directory, a curated artist pipeline from the member roster, coordinated showcases and residencies, and cross-promotion across our newsletter and socials.
• How it runs. A club booking liaison coordinates dates against the shared shows calendar, with member ticket allocations, door splits, and member discounts depending on venue type.
• Public + apply. Affiliated venues appear at /venues; venues apply at /venue-partners.

Most of the club is members-only, but these two pages are fully public — no signup or audition required. Safe to deep-link in coverage.
